This is the basic design I have in mind for the YggdrasilProject quilt.
The darker colors will be sewn together for the tree itself, while the lighter colors will make up the background and any solid colors will be worked into the border. If there is enough support for the project, I will make it double sided and reversed on the back with the tree in lighter colors and the background darker.
Because it will be entirely patchwork, I will work through it in sections and put everything together incrementally and i f there is still fabric left, and it continues to come in, I will simply add solid borders around the outside.
It can be as big as it wants in the end! Those of you who donate will determine that.
